Prashanta has over 29 years of experience in service delivery, delivery management, project and programme management in New Zealand public and private sectors. He migrated to New Zealand in 1989.

Prashanta is highly skilled in formal, contemporary Project and Programme management methodologies and practices (PRINCE2 and PMI), having practiced them in many variations, during his employment with NIIT, CMC, Oracle, Ernst & Young, IBM as well as direct clients as an independent.

Prashanta is adept at managing senior stakeholder relationships in the context of balancing multiple interests while driving for shared programme and project outcomes.

Prashanta has worked on project and programme domains such as ICT infrastructure, business systems, knowledge management, business intelligence, HR change, and service delivery models.

Prashanta has a deep understanding of how global multinationals and consulting firms structure and operate significant contracts, gained from his tenure with such organisations. This enables him to structure, negotiate and manage these key relationships on behalf of his customers for large projects.

He is also formally qualified in State Services Commission, Gateway Review Process and intimately familiar with the associated Treasury Better Business Case methodology. The latter is knowledge and skill gained through working as a reviewer and reviewee lead for projects of scale.

Prashanta's working style is characterised by influence and negotiation.
